Community Feast: Planning Our First Citywide Food Hunt Event

Mark your calendars, Charleston foodies! On August 10th, we're hosting our first-ever citywide HungerHunter event: The Charleston Food Hunt Fest!

Event Overview

Date: Saturday, August 10, 2025
Time: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Location: Citywide - 50+ participating restaurants
Entry: Free for all HungerHunter users

How It Works

This isn't your typical food festival. Instead of one location, the entire city becomes your playground:

1. Special event quests unlock at 11 AM
2. Visit participating restaurants to complete challenges
3. Earn bonus XP (3x multiplier all day!)
4. Compete for exclusive prizes and titles
5. Grand finale party at Charleston Beer Works

Exclusive Event Quests

• The Marathon: Check in at 10 restaurants in one day (1000 XP)
• Neighborhood Champion: Visit 5 restaurants in the same district (500 XP)
• Cuisine World Tour: Try 6 different cuisine types (750 XP)
• Photo Journalist: Upload photos from 15 different meals (800 XP)
• Social Butterfly: Check in with 10 different friends (600 XP)
